Information Station

lyrics

Seems we drift
Right out of line
Living life on borrowed time
Got no reason for no rhyme
Strictly raving looney
Social life TV
It's ok it's interest free
Only thing that gets to me
Is all the advertising
Meanwhile try to work at home
With a keyboard and this honky phone
Where's it written that creation groans
Computer bureau bound to know
Running out of time
Battle for the human mind
Get no joy back when we pay
The information station
Do you think our feelings know
The way to play this manic show
Could be feelings sometimes lie
It pays to ask the question
To find a way to find the heart
Before we blow the human mind apart
There's no point in being clever
In the land of never never
